Julia Finlay, Registered Osteopath in South London

My role as an Osteopath is to help you, your baby or your child, out of discomfort and pain and back to health as soon as possible. I look at your overall health and the cause of your problems, rather than just the symptoms.

I have extensive experience and qualifications in treating adults, babies, children, pregnant and postnatal mothers, using Cranial Osteopathy. This is a very gentle technique that supports and promotes health in the whole body and is suitable for all ages. At the end of the first treatment I will tell you what to expect and how many treatments may be necessary. I will also discuss with you any exercises or changes in lifestyle that will be beneficial.

If you haven’t seen an Osteopath before, or you’re not sure if your issue is suitable for Osteopathic treatment, please book a complimentary 15 minute telephone call with me.

My clinic is in West Norwood. I am delighted to be in a central location where I am able to see patients living in West Norwood, Streatham, Dulwich, Herne Hill, Brixton, Clapham, Stockwell, Tooting, Balham, Norbury and Crystal Palace. With the excellent transport links I often see patients from further afield.

I look forward to seeing you at the clinic.

Osteopathy for Babies

Few births are truly easy so parents are keen to check the new baby is doing well in the early weeks and months of life. Babies have many changes to deal with in terms of settling into life outside the womb and feeding, so osteopathy can often help.

Osteopathy for Children

Parents instinctively know if a child is not fully themselves. While older children can tell us that they are feeling unwell, small children can only give us clues through behaviour, sleep patterns and general health, so an osteopathic examination can often help.

Osteopathy: Pregnancy & Post-Natal

Pregnancy is a time of increased demands on a woman's body. Some of us manage to bloom throughout, or may struggle with the change in body shape, posture and physiology. After the baby comes, it can take time to recover from the challenges of giving birth. Osteopathy can often help during pregnancy and after the birth.

Osteopathy for Adults

Osteopathy is best known for success in treating musculo-skeletal problems in men and women. Stresses of every day life play a part in body pain - so the body draws our attention to what is happening through the feeling of pain in the body. An osteopathic examination can often help deal with pain or if you have suffered an accident, injury or sports injury.

Julia is both professional and caring and I highly recommend her.
